Merge Potion on Reddit

This policy covers Merge Potion on Reddit only, the version of the game that runs inside Reddit. The Google Play version is a different build and is covered by the 23 Heartbeats privacy policy.

What we store

When you play logged in, the game stores the following on Reddit's servers, using Reddit Developer Platform storage, kept separately for each subreddit:

your Reddit user ID and your game progress: the board, currencies, upgrades and statistics;
for the leaderboards: your Reddit username, number of finished runs and best run time;
for diamond packs: the order IDs of your purchases and the number of diamonds bought.

Logged-out progress and your sound and language settings stay only in your browser.

What we do not do

No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no profiling. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties. The game makes no requests outside Reddit.

Why we are allowed to (legal basis)

To provide the game you chose to play and the items you bought: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Payments

Purchases with Reddit Gold are processed by Reddit. We never see payment data.

How long we keep it

As long as you play. When you delete your game data in Settings, your progress (board, gold, upgrades bought with gold or stars) is removed. Diamonds, upgrades bought with diamonds and your run statistics are kept, so purchases are never lost. Leaderboard entries and purchase records are kept so earned ranks and bought items stay correct; ask us to remove them at any time. If you delete your Reddit account, contact us and we remove the related data within 30 days.

You have the right of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to complain to your data protection authority. Write to contact@23heartbeats.com.
